Amigo Tours cancelled our Sagrada Familia reservation for a Friday, only four days below, on Monday. Because they cancelled so late, there is no opportunity to buy our own standard entry into Sagrada Familia or for tower access. They would not offer us any help in entering, only suggested that we reschedule for the following Tuesday. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend.

We visited Sagrada Familia with tour guide David from Amigo Tours. His explanation about architecture details, sculptures, indoors fullfilled my expectations. I can truly recommend it. Without tour guide explanation its difficult to find all details by yourself and understand the concept of Antonio Gaudi. We were also using the headphones and he used microphone so we could hear him clearly all the time during the visit.

Martha was excellent - very clear just the right amount of information. Interesting and knowledgable . Clearly she loves the temple and wanted to share her knowledge.

The guide was great, but having mixed group in English and Spanish (1 person!) is a no go. Nearly half the time lost for each group.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Disorganised and incredibly inefficient. Time booked for the guided tour was changed by email before we left for Barcelona. We arrived, along with two other customers, 20 minutes before the revised time. The guide did not introduce himself and there was no indication he was the guide. He left along with a few people 15 minutes before the revised time without checking that the others who were presumably on his list, if he in fact had one, were there waiting. When the new allocated time had passed we rang the company only to be told that the departure time had been changed again back to the original 1 o’clock booking. They claimed we and the other stranded couple had been informed of this second change by a further email…we had not and the person who we spoke to could not say when it been sent and by whom. According to the customer service rep we spoke to, we were left with no alternative but to cancel the booking. You can imagine the disappointment and anger that we had missed, through no fault of our own, what was to be the highlight of our 3 dat trip to Barcelona. We await a full refund. If you wish to visit the basilica, I would suggest you book your own tickets directly. I certainly wish we had done so.

Tour guide was very knowledgable however, her English accent was so thick it was very hard to understand her esp with such low quality headsets that had two settings (off or blasting). I feel like it’s hard to expect much from this type of tour but it would have made it much easier if we didn’t have to work so hard to understand the English. Would recommend others to just use an audio guide instead.

It was very good tourism guide Martha, answered plenty of questions. The church is very well naturally lighted, I you feel really well inside the church

This was supposed to be a private guided tour of La Sagrada Familia, skipping the long entrance lines. Well, there are still lines, guess that is inevitable given the fame of the cathedral!!! But at least we were queuing up at a little shop, the on the street, then in front of the cathedral (at three places) and then finally into the cathedral. It was certainly much better than trying to do this on our own! We did have one unfortunate experience in that one of the little audio radios was allegedly 'lost' - it just wasn't given to the right person! So that cost us 15 minutes of our one hour tour. But then the specialness of the experience began. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and guided us through many views of the cathedral with commentary that you wouldn't get on your own or with an e-guide. Plus, she was great at answering questions, which was special. She never made us feel rushed, despite being on a short time-frame. we were also lucky that the sun was shining on the day we visited, and since it was afternoon, we got to see the 'sunset wall of windows' with some spectacular colors lighting up the west corridor of the cathedral. We did not do the upper level, because there are LOTS of stairs to come down, and also, it is very, very high and one of our group has a fear of heights. So do be aware of this if you are booking. Seeing just the inside of the cathedral is spectacular enough!!!

Bit expensive. Purchasing an audio tour will be more cost effective. Mid way into the tour several group members left the group and started to explore on their own. It was half the size at the end of 1 hour. Guide was fine, but this activity dosent need to be guided
