Stop At: Oller del Mas, Carretera Igualada Km 91, 08241 Manresa Spain

Oller del Mas is not a common winery – its superb ecological wines have earned plenty of awards in the recent years. In fact, one of its wines won the “Best Wine in Catalonia” award in 2018. But the cellar is not only special for its wines. You will take a stroll by the vineyards, learn how the wine is made, and discover all of its secrets. *We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.

The tour was definitely a 10 out of 10 - it was excellent. All the guides were good, including the gentleman who started us all out on the bus (Daniel or David - sorry I don't remember his name). He was informative and funny and very interesting. We learned a lot from him about Barcelona and the history of the city and area. Susana was the best ever, however. OMG - she is so knowledgeable and she taught us so much about the history and what we would be seeing and experiencing, but she did it with so much humor and intelligence and fun and enthusiasm. She was beyond wonderful and absolutely was the highlight of the entire trip. It was all fabulous, from the drive to and tour of Montserrat to the wine-tasting and tapas and tour of the winery. We have only taken a few tours in our past travels, but we did take two tours last year when we were in Milan and Florence, and had great experiences, so this trip we decided to go on a lot of tours. One guide last year, Marco in Milan, was fabulous and we didn't think he could be beat, but as good as he was, Susana beat him, no question. She is wonderful and if we could always have her for tours, we would just take a tour every day and never come home.

We had an amazing time with MJ, our tour guide. She had vast knowledge of catalan art, history, culture, and wine! It was a beautiful day- the weather was amazing as well as the views along our journey. The wine was so delicious and the property was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you MJ!

A great combination of history, culture, and natural beauty. Our main host, MJ, was both informative and entertaining! An extra hour at the monastery would be nice. The museum is more extensive than I realized and deserved more time. All in all, a wonderful trip!

Excellent visit to Montserrat is a great place to visit and this was a fun way to visit. Our tour guide, Thais, was very knowledgable and friendly. She provided a lot of fun stories. The winery visit was ok. Not much tapas so don't go hungry. The wine was tasty and Thais did a nice job giving people an approach to wine that was very straight forward.

Montserrat was beautiful and a must-visit for anyone going to Barcelona. It was nice to travel outside of the Barcelona city as well to see the countryside. Wish we had a bit more time to explore the museum as well but we were able to go on the funicular which was awesome. And then getting to eat and drink wine inside of a castle was such a cool experience. Our tour guide Anthony was exceptional and very funny as well. He truly excelled during the wine-tasting portion of the trip. We walked away with a new appreciation for wine tasting! Would highly recommend this trip. My wife was also unexpectedly sick during our original date and they were very accommodating and allowed us to move our trip last minute.
